Hang on he says half are new and never played. Does that mean that he played 1,500,000 records and 150,000 CDs in the 50 years he has been collecting. That’s 30,000 records a year and about 5,000 CDs if we allow 30 years of CD playing. That’s about 100 a day for the last 30 years. If he listened to each for a mere 15 minutes he was spending 25 hours a day listening to music.

That explains the health problems.

I think that some of that half were probably purchased used. I’ll bet this guy has earworms like a motherfucker though.
