Who was better looking, Paul Newman or Robert Redford?

So, uh, Redford is to Newman as Moore is to Connery?

I always liked Paul Newman’s story about a letter he got from a man saying that he liked Newman’s salad dressing. Then he said something to the effect of “My girlfriend says you’re also an actor. Do you have any movies on VHS?” Newman had it framed because it kept him humble.

Newman was the one with the brains and the personality and the self-awareness. Redford… well, he’s just Ken.

I skipped to the end here, so forgive me if this has been mentioned, but I think that I just heard very recently that John Krazinski (The Office) was voted sexiest man alive? Not a traditional looker.

Always wished it had been Paul Newman instead of Robert Vaughn in the Magnificent Seven (and Lee Marvin instead of Brad Dexter)

The best role Robert Redford ever filled was that movie where Willem Dafoe takes him out in the woods and shoots him. Most everything else he ever did never allowed there to be a downside to being Golden Boy.

Of course that’s all just my opinion. But as for The Sting, a well dressed man would wear a homburg with a tuxedo, never a fedora. Now that’s a fact.
