Who was ctips?

When I was first learning programming, I happened on the following website (as seen via the Wayback Machine):

https://web.archive.org/web/20230318084320/http://users.bestweb.net/~ctips/

The site seems to have still been live up to about 2 years ago, but pretty well just stayed static from 2002 (so far as I can tell) and, despite proclaiming itself the work of a man who had written copious amounts of code within large, long-running software systems, the identity of that person is never revealed.

That said, I’m mostly curious just to see if he ever did write anything else? (I don’t need his name except to aid in finding more material.) While there are a few general elements of wisdom, they’re pretty tightly tied to the C programming language and the world of software development in the 80s and 90s. I’m just curious to see if he was able to follow up with something more modern or more general.

Otherwise, I’d hope that he encounters the question and sees that his work was appreciated.

Don’t know how long since it was accurate but the page gives ctips@bestweb.net as the author’s email.

Not much here. But I imagine you could send a message through domainsbyproxy.com.

GoDaddy still runs ASP? That language died about 20 years ago.

Edit: I see the correct link is to an ASPX page, that language(s) are still current, though reaching end of life.
