Who was Danny Sheehan, and what did he have to do with the Nicaraguan Solidarity Movement?

I happened to be reading this Alexander Cockburn piece on 9-11 Truthers, and came across this puzzling reference:

The conspiracists have combined to produce a huge distraction, just as Danny Sheehan did with his Complaint, that mesmerized and distracted much of the Nicaraguan Solidarity Movement in the 1980s, and which finally collapsed in a Florida courtroom almost as quickly as the Towers.

I can’t turn up anything using Google, and yet he mentions it like it’s common knowledge. Anybody have any idea what he’s talking about?

He’s a left-wing lawyer, and was a founding member of the Christic Institute. His “complaint” was an enormous lawsuit filed over the La Penca bombing that nearly killed Edén Pastora.

Thanks. Never heard of the bombing, much less the lawsuit. Dropping a reference like that probably says something about who CounterPunch is written for.
