Who was that '90's SF Bay Area sports radio guy?

I am desperately trying to remember the name of this funny, gravelly-voiced sports radio host who had a call-in show in the San Francisco Bay Area (KNBR, maybe?) in the early-to-mid 1990’s. I think he worked in some other city before then, and probably afterwards as well.

He would often berate his callers, but never in a mean way. Sometimes he was hyper, but usually smart and almost always weird and funny. He would sometimes use a phrase that sounded like “Look out!”, but shouted in an Al-Pacino-in-Scent-of-a-Woman “Hooah!” kind of way. Someone told me they thought they saw him punching someone out on ESPN around that time, but I’m not positive it was the same guy.

Also, I recall him occasionally interviewing someone pretending to be Rocky Balboa.

I tried all kinds of Googling, and perused the KNBR site, but no luck.

Any ideas as to who that guy was? Thanks!

Sounds like Scott Ferrall. I loved the guy because he loved hockey as much as the more mainstream American sports. He’s on Sirius now.

That’s him! THANK YOU!
