Gotcha. All I’m saying is that since this thread led to an all-female poll (that actually said that in its title) the need/wish for a male counterpart has now been suggested by several people (as noted in the post above). I don’t have any objections, and in fact I would love it, for someone/anyone to take the initiative and start that thread and develop a list of names for a poll of all-men.
Things just developed to be all-female in this particular phase of the game/search. There’s quite a bit more polling and such to get to a definitive female and I’m focusing on that.
Then there are the other time periods to explore like 70s-80s, 90s-2000s, etc.

For the record, I said Krysten Ritter should be cast to play Jean Simmons, who was a beautiful celebrity of the fifties and sixties.
Ritter, herself, was born in 1981 and has no place in this poll. She has to wait until we do a “Beautiful Celebrity of the 21st Century” poll.
