ANYbody can piss a bunch of people off… Umkay messed with the whole gamut of people’s emotions, mine included. I thought about leaving the board because of it… (usually I just look over my shoulder, go “Oh. drama… shrug ooh,look, someone got a new kitty”)

SECRETAGENT posted in all caps, claiming that his supersekrit phone only allowed caps to be transmitted and insisting that he had all sorts of insider intel on Sadam Hussein, (nearly all of his claims turned out to be false, of course), while demanding that the SDMB support Bush’s desire to launch a war in Iraq.
Phaedrus was a nutcase kid who claimed to be an old man who was desperate to disprove the Theory of Evolution. He relied on his (claimed) North American Indian ancestry to prove that he was smarter than the rest of us, ('cause those folks are, of course, the smartest people on Earth), who eventually flounced out of here with a post in what he claimed was Dakotan that he repeated, claiming that it was a different North American language, even though it was the identical text posted in italics.
Only person I’ve ever put on ignore on this site is D’Anconia. He just exists for the sole purpose of derailing threads he doesn’t like the subject matter of.

I would like to nominate badchad, who was a relatively rare atheist troll. He practically harassed Polycarp into inactivity on this board. I’m not exactly your poster child for religion but I went 15 round with him on whether or not there was anything admirable about Jesus of Nazareth.
Whatever he may have claimed about his background or technology, one is impressed with the fact that he managed to get his posts past the board software’s ALL CAPS restriction, apparently without the use of the rinky-tink coding tricks that we sheeple are obliged to resort to.
