Who was your first 'Love'?

I had a girlfriend in kindergarten. Laura was such a nice girl… I remember hiding behind a tree with her once during recess and kissing her. So cute. When I went off to start 1st grade at a different school, she just waved goodbye. I don’t think she realized I wasn’t coming back.

I’ve had many crushes since then, but no real luck with women. Oh well.

I had the hots for Adam Ant, too.Had all his albums(even the crappy ones like Stand and Deliver), posters all over my room, buttons with his face on them…the whole nine yards.

I’ll go you one better on the embarrass-o-meter.Hows this…

Oh, the shame!
Yes, I loved The Artist formerly known as A Person with a Name.I had a poster of him that came out of an album that showed him in the shower in a speedo like bikini thing. My mom forbid me to hang it up, so I hung it on the inner of two sliding closet doors and kept the other door over it until I knew the coast was clear.

As for real people, when I was nine, I was in a perpetual state of swoon over a boy named Mark Perkins. His family’s backyard and mine shared the back fence and he would climb it to come swing or ride bikes with me.
I can still see him, sitting on a banana seat bike with the summer sun shining through his blond hair.It looked like a halo…sigh

Her name was Lucille, and she was the BEST DAMNED SOCK PUPPET EVER WOVEN! Er… I mean… Alyssa Milano. By the way, Poison Ivy 2 was a dream come true!

Kisses!

Omigod, you guys are making me remember Matthew Penarczyk and The Rock. We were in junior orchestra together, and we always had our practice first, with the other grade school kids; then we had a lot of time on our hands waiting for the middle school kids to finish and for our rides to get there. Matthew and I used to go off to a big living rock at the edge of the woods and play Damsel in Distress. First, I would get on the rock and be the maiden cowering away from the dragon. Matt would kill the dragon, and try to lift me down from the rock; the operative word is “try”. We were only ten, after all. Then he would get on the rock and be the wounded knight, and I would tend to his wounds. Amazing how well we incorporated the roles of alpha male and wife/mother.

I guess I’m just better off living with my inner tensions.

When I was 8 years old, I had a dream that I was going steady with a girl who was the spitting image of Darla from The Little Rascals. Does that count?
