Who Will Replace Eric Holder?

Now that Attorney General Eric Holder has submitted his resignation, who will replace him?

I mean… Will the replacement be more conservative? More liberal? More moderate? Mr. Holder (as I already pointed out on another thread) is very anti-porn and anti-obscenity. How, if any, will his replacement differ in this regard? (Don’t laugh, his replacement might even be a libertarian–which actually, some Republicans may even support and be on board with.)

And here is the big one: Name someone (i.e., an actual person) who you think could and may succeed Mr. Holder.

:):)

No one. Holder will remain until the end of Obama ’ s term or give up and leave before a replacement is found. The position will sit empty like so many others because the GOP would rather break things than vote for anything Obama requests.

No one. The Senate will refuse to confirm anyone, and Holder will end up as AG until 2016.

(You all know, my question is still valid, even if we have to wait until the next president:).)

Didn’t he resign a couple of years ago?

Why doesn’t Obama resign, effective 1.20.2017?

Holder may resign every day till the end of Obama’s term, but, he’ll never, willingly, leave the office. He’s just making some noise, so, in case somebody demands his firing for
‘whatever scandal’ the administration can say ‘He’s already resigned.’

So very unlike the Dems, who have always leapt to the support of GOP candidates.
