Well, so far today, the Longhorns are struggling badly against the Irish, but that may just be today.
I picked WVU for sentimental reasons. Although, it would be nice to see the belt make its way out of the Big 12.

I have some doubts about them making it past K State, but I had to give it to my hometown boys at Iowa State in an upset.

TCU looking pretty shaky so far this evening against Kansas State.
TCU goes down with a clunk. And no one here picked the Cowpokes. My guess is they will not be back in the top ten this year, though they might get a nice late-December bowl. The Angostura Bitters Bowl, or somesuch.
It’s been since 2011 that the SEC had a grip on The Belt and with schedules being what they are it may be a long time before The Belt gets out of the Big XII.

That’s what bowls are for. I wonder if colleges and players acknowledge The Belt when motivating themselves.
Hmmm, Okie State with an away game at Iowa State, followed by the final two at home, Baylor and Oklahoma. Then a bowl game or a national playoff game, if the Big 12 doesn’t get fucked this year. Cowboys competing in lofty altitudes, easy to let the belt melt off you when you’re flying so close to the sun.
Well now, looks like txtumbleweed, Oredigger77 and Omar Little accomplished something like the opposite of winning. As soon as we know who the froggies will be going up agin in the Whichever Bowl, we will set up a new pick’em thread.
