Who Would Win the Next Civil WAR the REPUBs or the DEMOCs?

Well, lets say this thing keeps getting worse and worse until it starts a war between the demos and repubs.

How would the (war)lines be set up east west or north south? Would we do it like the navy and the army did it in the movie “1941” chunking repubs(out of the demo side) to the repub side and then chunky the demos(that are behind repub lines) to the demo side?

Place your posts on who would win and why?

I personally think we would kick the demos’ ass(donkey) afterall we are an elephant(biggest baddest animal in the jungle). And we have more guns, the military, and the militia? IMHO ya’ll should concede NOW! :wink: :smiley:

Considering that Republicans are strong advocates of the 2nd Amendment, I should say that they’d win on sheer firepower. Can you just see Charlton Heston leading Rush Limbaugh and George Will into battle? It’d be epic.

However, losses would be great on all sides, and we Libertarians would end up coming out on top. :smiley:

If it’s brains that win wars, I doubt anyone would win this war. You put 1000 politicans together, you might get a few brain cells. The only smart politican is a retired or dead one.

Any such war might be said to be between Democrats and Republicans. In reality, it would be a war between the tiny number of morons who actually believe that bloody war and conquest is in some way a means of securing democracy, and the vast majority of us who know better. Once the lines were drawn, it would be a very simple thing to ignore the sociopath set after they’ve all been rounded up and arrested as the criminals they are. Happens all the time, actually. A fool might think he’s leading a revolution when he blows up a building in Oklahoma, declares a rural piece of land to be a sovereign nation free from US tax laws, or robs a convenience store, but really he’s just a dick.

East-west or north-south? Neither. It would be the coasts against the heartland. And honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if it did come to that in twenty years or so.

After their first major ass-whuppin’, the Dems would drag the war into the courts. They would unwittingly “sue” for peace and effectively secure their own surrender.

I won’t mention Chuck Heston, I mean the guy is Moses, fer petesakes, but Limbaugh and Will are terrible under fire. Al Franken’s book Rush Limbaugh is a Big Fat Idiot contains a hilarious comic strip showing Ollie North leading the latter two plus several other prominent conservatives into battle in Vietnam.
