Yea, we would want minorities having a say in how we run the country. Just think of how bad this country would be if poor people, black people, environmentalists, christian fundamentilists, etc had a say in how we run things. After all, the USA should be run by the people that own it. You know rich people and corporations! 
I voted for Nader last time, and will again. The other 2 choices make me want to vomit.

I’ve really been hoping for Dick Gephart. He seems like a real Democrat, who does a few things just for the benefit of the poor or weak, not just whoever is a “friend of the party”.
Maybe he’ll become VP, and we’ll see hi influence more.
