One of our divisions had a visit from the President (Bush 1 think) and they built a special bathroom off the executive conference room for his use during the visit. I went in there to use ut during my visit up there, it was quite nice. Much better than my bathroom at home!
When my mom worked at a nursing school, her office had its own private bathroom. But that’s because the school was a converted hospital, and the offices were all old patient rooms.
A buddy of mine is a film editor; his firm is now located in the former offices of ***The New Yorker ***magazine.
I peed in Willam Shawn’s <former, famous editor and father of actor/multi-talent Wallace> bathroom. I wouldn’t have the heart to tell him that his office is set up as a giant gaming room with a full Rock Band set in the middle hooked up to a top-end sound system. I guess the editors need to take a break every now and then.
ETA: yes, I know he passed away decades ago.
There is an “executive washroom” at my firm. The chairman of the firm and a few other partners have a key. It’s huge. It’s luxurious. It has a shower, and is stocked with fresh towels and various grooming products.
Also, I know a United States District Court judge well enough that I drop by his chambers from time to time, usually to meet him to go to dinner or something. The washroom attached to his chambers is spectacular. Shower, etc., towels, everything. The rules of the courthouse say that this washroom is for the judge, not for his staff, although this judge doesn’t actually care if his staff uses it. Other judges may think differently.
Actually his whole office is spectacular. Bigger than my apartment. Great views overlooking a river, high up. I’d happily live there.
