Taxguy, I never thought about doing law. I can’t see the connection though why Chem E’s would be such a good fit for it. Anyone have any idea???
Properties/Scenic Design Intern at one of the largest community theatres in the country. My day includes: making a chain of 7 phone calls to find a 97 year-old printing press (“No, we don’t have one, but we’ll ask this guy who just walked in the door. He says to call X Printing and ask for Dan. Tell him Dave told you to call.”); setting up a xylophone; googling for a picture of Hitler, blowing it up in Photoshop and attaching it to a dartboard; filling a Jim Beam bottle with iced tea; moving furniture all over town; procuring a skull-shaped ashtry to use as a candy dish; finding sugar-free candy for our diabetic cast member; sewing curtains to a curtain rod; designing a circular couch; any number of other things. It’s hard, hard, work, and long hours, but I love it.
Ok, I just have to come out of lurking mode to post on this thread. I work for a company that manages adult bookstores all over the country. I deal with the merchandise end.
Yes, my job entails making sure the stores have the correct number of vibrators and other adult toys they are supposed to be carrying. I even get samples from manufacturers!
Most of the time it’s a fun job.
