I’d put myself in the lower half of people here. But then, I’m an optimist.
My boyfriend and one of my friends, who is not only smarter (getting a ph.d. or a masters, I don’t remember which), but gorgeous and nicer too boot! And she’s so cute and sweet, I can’t not like her!
I’m pretty sure my previous boyfriend was also smarter than me, but he doesn’t use it.
The guy who draws Exploding Dog. People submit the ideas, so he doesn’t have to come up with them, and he draws stick figures.

Being somewhat egotistical, I know no one who is smarter than I am. Yes, there are many people who have more knowledge or capabilities in a specific area or field but no one who can compete with my general knowledge or ability to solve problems.
I hang around with people who are smarter and better-looking than myself, in the hopes that it will rub off. 
The smartest individual I can think of is a guy I met about 12 years ago, who started learning a language on the same day I did. He was fluent in six months. Granted, he was in school at the time and had more time, but still…
He met a Bulgarian women and one day his blog popped up in Bulgarian.
On a Wednesday I showed him the Shavian alphabet, which I had just discovered on the net. The following Sunday, he was taking notes in it.
He works in cryptography.
Very nice guy, and a total refutation of the idea that smart people have to be social misfits.
I’m sure a lot of people here are smarter than me.
In my real life, the REALLY smart ones are all dead.
My grandfather, who taught me I could do anything I set my mind to, in an age when girls were expected to be only wives and mothers.
My uncle who was scary smart, so much, he just couldn’t fit into society.
And my sweet, beautiful son who tested in the 160s. He too, had trouble fitting.
