I’ve read the comics page in my local newspaper nearly every day for the past 40 years. But if you had asked me a year ago if there were still any of those non-funny “Mary Worth” style soap opera-type comic strips in the paper, I would not have been able to tell you. I never, ever read them (and that goes for “Mark Trail”).
Lately, however, “Judge Parker” is very nearly something I could masturbate to.
But my favorite storyline was from two years ago, when Abbey Spencer, the red-headed wife of everyone’s favorite eunch Sam Driver, ate a neighbor’s brownies which she didn’t know were spiked with wholesome green herbs, and commenced to paint her barn in Daisy Dukes and halter top.
