who's the oldest famous woman who's still hot?

Marlo Thomas—bar none. She always has been, and always will be, drop dead beautiful. Note the date on the photo—she was just shy of her 67th birthday.

Not the best photo of her, but it was taken 2002 and shows that Suzanne Pleshette seems to aging better than fine wine, IMHO.

I was going to nominate Dawn Wells (still hotter than Ginger ever was!), but of course, I was beaten to her in the second post. And now that I see the pictures, Barbara Eden might possibly be even hotter than her.

Am I the only one who thinks most of the photos in this thread are better than most current young actresses?

Sir Rhosis
I believe the woman to whom you refer is Linda Kelsey.

Nope. Most of these babes have a beauty that hits you viceserally, whereas the modern beauties have a manufactured and/or deer in headlights look about them.

Folks, Jane Fonda is 67 years old!

Other than that, I think that it’s hardly worth talking about the women in their 50’s - these days, what with the plastic surgery and the skin treatments and the hey hey hey, women in their 50’s can look like they are in their 30’s. It’s much harder to stay ‘hot’ into the 60’s and 70’s.

So my vote so far goes to Fonda, Eden, and Dawn Wells.

However, Meredith Baxter is now 57…

Here are more pictures of Carmen. I agree with you, I’ve always thought she was lovely.

While a relative juvenile at 53, Lynda Carter (recent pics)) could still look right in place in a Wonder Woman outfit.

Charlotte Benkner looks hot as all hell at 114. OK, I’m kidding. I’ll be lucky if I live to be half that age.

Sophia Loren is easily the winner of this thread. Up until 5 or 8 years ago I would have said Ann Margaret but it seems like time is starting to catch up with her lately. Don’t get me wrong, she still looks amazing, but it was like she put time on hold for 30 years from 1965 to 1995, And the past ten years she’s aged about 20.

And if you really want to engage in some gratuitous cradle robbing, here’s the ever-beautiful Heather Locklear. At 43, she’s 27 days older than I am. Seeing her still look this good at her age does nothing but make me shake my head in incredulous disbelief at men my age who chase after twenny-somethings.

Jaclyn Smith is still looking good (this photo was taken recently when she was 56).

Part of the reason Ms Page remained out of sight was because of problems since her modeling days ended. She’s been arrested for some serious crimes and spend time locked up.

Hit this post and had to agree. She was my first thought. Back to post #15 to see what everyone else said.

Oh, and Cher?!? My printer has softer curves. :stuck_out_tongue:

A very serious contender from these parts of the world is Sayuri Yoshinaga who is 59.
This is her in her heydays, in 1965

I’ve been having a hard time finding good recent pictures of her but she’s still gorgeous. The cover from her recent book will give you a good idea, though.

Here’s another video cover

Can’t help but wonder how many of these hot senior citizens have had some serious work done.

And unless the photo of them is candid (at a movie opening, or something) figure that the photos are seriously retouched. I can see signs of retouching in a lot of these pictures.

I used to work at a photo lab (retouching photos—no, we rarely used an airbrush) and some of the more veteran retouchers sometimes worked on celebrity photos. They said that some of these celebrities (Jane Seymour was one name I remember) had their share of wrinkles.

Not to rain on anyone’s parade in admiring these women, though. Plenty of the photos linked to here are candid ones (like the Lynda Carter pics, etc.) and there’s no question that the ladies look fabulous.

She is incredibly beautiful. Who is she? What did/does she do? I think she’s my favorite so far.

I’m going with Chita Rivera. In 1995 she played the lead in “Kiss of the Spider Woman.” She was live on stage at age 62, doing a role that would be impossible for some 40 year olds. And she won a Tony for it.

I can’t really argue with Ann-Margret on the list, but she has most certainly looked better. Did you see her on The Flintstones? Yum.

I’ll submit Catherine Deneuve to the list. A couple years younger than Ann-Margret, still looks good, and super hot back in her time. I still drool over her in Belle De Jour.

Well done, Sue - thank you. That bigger photo is one of the ones I was thinking of that looks like the “definition-of-beauty” Neferttiti sculpture.

I remember seeing a documentary on her - on PBS IIRC - and they talked about how she hadn’t had any “work” done. Frankly, I don’t care - with her bone structure, you can’t go wrong…

I just thought of two lovely Spanish ladies, while adolescents compared to some other, they’re certainly runner-ups:

Ana Belen, at 53, looks fantastic. Pic, pic, pic & pic.

Lydia Bosch, while only 41, seems to have gotten very good genes. I wouldn’t be surprised if she has at least 20 more years as a hottie ahead of her. Link.
