Whose Live Anyway

MissTake - I usually watch it on the weekends. I know I’ve watched the eps before, but they remain some of the funniest stuff I’ve ever seen. It’s always funny, although I think Drew was the weak link on the show.

You know, I wondered that when we learned of Stiles’ aversion to flying. I can only guess that either:
a) His fear of flying has gotten worse since then
b) He’ll fly, if there’s enough money involved
c) He did take a ship to England.

I’ll agree that Drew was rather mediocre when he’d participate in the games, but I always thought he was an excellent host. Watching him completely lose his shit during the funny bits was just as much fun as the bits themselves, for me at least. I’m sad they’re not coming to my area any time soon, but seeing that they’ve hit places somewhat near me gives me hope for the future.

Colin Mochrie was my favorite on Whose Line. I think the “Newsflash” skits were consitently the funniest.

I think I heard that Brad Sherwood is one of the finalists to replace Rich Fields as the announcer on The Price is Right. IIRC, they are do live auditions and Sherwood will have his chance in a few weeks.

“Whose Live”? Never saw it. “Whose Life”? Never saw it. “Whose Line is it Anyway”? Hilarious.

What?

You know, it’s funny. The US version of WLIIA is without doubt one of the funniest things I have ever seen on television. I still laugh out loud every time I watch the “a…tern? An…Arctic tern?” exchange, Wayne Brady doing the sports as Michael Jackson progressing through his career slays me and I absolutely adore Ryan Stiles’ “foal being born” impression. But this does absolutely nothing for me. I didn’t find it funny the first time and I don’t really find it funny now. Maybe I just don’t get Richard Simmons.

If this is meant to be a pedantic correction, I should point out that the touring live show is indeed called ‘Whose Live Anyway’.

Which I still haven’t seen, and it seems to be derived from Whose Line, so there is a connection. Some humor is just too subtle for some people.

In that case, where’d you get ‘Whose Life’?

That clip is so damn funny. It’s interesting to see total professional Ryan Stiles lose it, and Drew Carey and Greg Proops (in the background) down for the count.

I read an intervie with Colin where he said that was the funniest segment they ever did. People were falling off their chairs from laughter.

Wait… he wouldn’t even watch all of it? Wouldn’t any friend, or even an acquaintance, at least try to do the minimum?

Which means not only does he not even live up to “minimal friend” quality, but is firmly in the “outright lack of respect” category.

He’s a jerk. And you may think you can change a jerk, but they do not really care about others. Get out sooner rather than later.

My favorite segments were when one person had to be standing, one sitting and one lying down - at all times - while they acted out a skit. I would wet my pants from laughing so hard!

I don’t think it’s that bad. Why sit around and watch an entire video if it’s not even remotely funny?

You can tell pretty quickly if you’ll think something’s funny or not. I mean, I think the clip is hilarious, but everyone’s different.

Yeah. It’s hilarious, but it can be summed up as “Richard Simmons acts flamingly gay and gropes everyone else.” If the telescope gag isn’t enough to get you laughing, the raft at the end certainly won’t be funny either.

I spent an hour or two last night digging up old Whose Line clips on Youtube, specifically Scenes From A Hat. I couldn’t breathe from laughing.
Drew: “Good News and Bad News.”
Brad: “The good news is we’re naming a disease after you.” walks away
Wayne: :cool::frowning:

Just popped into my head. A natural progression, I suppose.
