I’m not sure I know the answer, but for my Kindergartener, being first in line has other ‘perks’ such as door holding- a much desired activity for most. Fortunately, the teacher rotates the job, so everyone gets a turn eventually.
This doesn’t work on my kid, though. He’s always last and usually in trouble for something.
