grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
Oh boy I get to say it:
Cite? Link? What the heck are you talking about? And what’s a spacker?
Boy, this* is* a productive way to combat Apache’s prejudices.
Fenris
what do you mean what am i talking about???
You never heard the term spacker b4? Shallow person.
I’ve never heard the term spacker before either.
Guess I’m just as shallow as AlaItalia. And why does not knowing what I can only assume is a slang term make us “shallow”?
Wouldn’t it make us ignorant?
And yeah, what are you talking about?
I’m talking about religious people being spackers. And I dont need to cite in BBQ pit, it’s not Great Debates you know.
Yeah, ignorant is a better word.
Maybe you should try to set a better example, instead of lowering yourself down to Apache’s ignorant ass level and giving his prejudices support.
Well, a cite for what “spacker” means might be helpful.
I havent read Apache’s thread. Just the title. I have no time for threads like his, but obviously many of you do, so I made one of my own.
Perhaps religious people are closest to ignorance when they entertain questions such as the one in this thread. Ya think?

Worst spoof thread EVER!

Well, spacker isn’t even listed in Merriam-Webster online, so I have no idea what the fuck this is all about. However, even though I’m not religious, I’ll disagree with the OP, on the grounds that generalizations are wrong in the vast majority of cases. Also, because the OP seems like an idiot, although it may just be very subtle satire.
In the interest of fighting ignorance:
Green, Jonathon. Cassell’s Dictionary of Slang. 1998: Cassell & Co., London.
This “spacker” word has intrigued me. I heard it once before, there was a character named “Spacker Dave” in the Punisher graphic novel by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon. Web searches haven’t come up with much, but I did find here:
http://www.verbalvoodoo.org/creat/s.html
In the definition for the word “spanner”, it is written:
I see on preview KneadToKnow also has a reference.
Well done mate. British people should know what it means. My old physics teacher was known as Spacker. That was back in 1988/89.
Subtle satire from a person who doesn’t capitalize “I” and uses “b4” for before? A spoof thread from someone who only read the thread title and couldn’t be bothered (“doesn’t have the time,” yeah, right) to read the thread (s)he is attempting to spoof?
Who is the ignorant and shallow one around here?
Moron. I assume you won’t have to look up that word.
Well, that would explain it, then. You see my parents left England in the late 1960’s and didn’t have the decency to stay current with the slang, thus leaving their daughter linguistically impaired.
Now that the term’s been defined in general, I’d still like to hear your specific reasons for use of that term, as well as which religion or religions it applies to. Christians? Muslims? Wiccans?
Please provide more information, wuzzack (sp?).
CJ
I never said it was satire, other people did.
The use of a small i is a fault of mine I have picked up on the internet and I try not to do it. b4 is shorthand. I dont often you that either, must have been in a shorthand mood.
Of coarse, the funniest thing about this thread is the over-analysis made by several of the posters.
Still, at least we all know what a spacker is now…
Spaker=“The Griffin”, right?
