Why aren't ramen restaurants more popular in the US?

At least here in the San Francisco area, I don’t have that much trouble getting okonomiyaki when the urge strikes. I don’t even have to go to a restaurant for it as every Thursday there’s a food stall at the Ferry Building that sells a decent enough version.

Omuraisu is the thing I have to seek harder to find.

A carrot, onion, celery, turnip and or Daikon, smoked turkey neck, chicken stock, and garlic (maybe some spinach and collards) salt and black pepper and chicken and or beef broth, thickened with a bit of corns starch… or the naturally floured, broad, buckwheat noodles

I must do some research at Bubba’s Asian Grocery soon. :slight_smile:
