Why can't I figure this out?

If it’s 0 degrees outside today, and it’s supposed to be twice as cold tomorrow, how cold will it be tomorrow?
GGAAAHHHHHHH!!

HOW COLD WILL IT BE?

I mean, if you double 0, well it’s still going to be 0. But that would make the temperature remain the same. Which it obviously isn’t, if it is supposed to be twice as cold.

I remember my first beer.

The statement makes no sense, which is why you can’t figure it out. The only time I can imagine it even making a little sense is in the context of, “It dropped from 5 to 0 last night, and it’s going to drop twice as much tonight.” But that isn’t what you said, either.

It makes sense! I just can’t figure it out.

I remember my first beer, too. Freshman year, my buddy Casey pulls 4 or 5 beers out of his coat and hands one to me and one to each of my friends. It was funny, you had to be there.

Convert to Kelvins, and then divide by two?

Damn, Taran. If it’s going to be that cold out, I don’t want to be here.

Excellent!

Taran wins!

Celsius would also work, if it’s 0 degrees Farenheit, or vice versa. Of course, either way you’d get a different result.

CJ

Well, yeah if he’s using C or F, convert to K and back.
We don’t want to confuse the guy what with the beer and all.

Dammit.
