Why Can't I Stay Logged In Here.....

…and elsewhere? I check “remember me”, but I get shut out even though I don’t restart my machine. I’m sure it’s probably in a security setting I’ve screwed up, so any help would be appreciated.

This didn’t used to happen.

My gut reaction, as a non-computer-whiz, just a medium-savvy user, is that you somehow disabled cookies. Dunno how to fix it, but that’s my guess.

Or you are frequently running a cleaning program that deletes cookies.

Cookies are set at their lowest setting.

Run in protected mode was unchecked (supposed to be a google fix - igoogle is my hp). I know there’s a “machine at risk” popup, but I was told to try that

I have Spybot and a registry defragmenter recommended by the Tech Guy site.

Always allow sessions is checked, as are 1st and 3rd party cookies (accept)

Thanks

This happened to me also in the past 1-2 days, but the problem
seems to have correected itself.

I found myself logged out when I came here today, but it was the first time I’ve had that happen in a long enough time that I can’t remember the last time.

I think I’ve got it straightened out, but don’t ask me what I did, because I couldn’t tell ya. I spent a lot of time in internet options - that much I remember! I just tried a little bit of everything and got it to workin.

Thanks!

Quasi

I had no such issue today, so I assume it was just one of the capybaras forgetting he’s not a hamster.
