Why did 9/11 happen?

A dose of reality which will undoubtedly be ignored by the Cognitive Dissonance Cheerleading Squad:

The USA is “No. 1” in nothing but weaponry, consumer spending, debt, and delusion

Cheers.

9/11 happened to bring democracy to Iraq. It may be evil but you can’t argue with results.

Now if only someone from central Africa would bomb the US maybe it would bring democracy to the Congo?

An unbiases source if ever I’ve seen one. :dubious: Here’s a thought RF…why not start a thread on this subject and see how you fair with that as your cite?

I’m guessing this is a joke but I’m not familiar with your posting style so I’m not sure. Could you fill me in please?

No I don’t accept your cheers.

Europe is free thanks to the US.

So is Japan, and South Korea.

So will be the Middle East.

The US is number one in technology and its economy.

Yes the congo state which hardly exists, and which is being fought over by a number of regional powers.

I second that notion.

You aren’t seriously proposing that “the ends justify the means” is an acceptable rationale, are you?

With a result of Iraqis being free, its hardly as terrible as you make it out to be.

Tell it to the dead.

They’ll sit still for that kind of morally bankrupt rubbish, the rest of us won’t.

Way to make a non sequiter to a joke sound wordly

Oh heaven forbid. It is not acceptable. Merely accepted.

Cisco, it was kind of a joke inspired by the democratic domino theory thread. Seriously, 9/11 runs directly to the Iraq invasion as far as US politics go, if you were a believer in devine providence then why not?

And it’s currently hard to find a more embarrassing word to misspell than “worldly”.
