I hate the news. Although I like to be informed, I normally hate watching the news, because it’s so depressing. Tonight just proved my point. I woke up around midnight, did a little surfing, and in the course of a few minutes found out about the Russian theatre house and that one of my favorite all time actors, Richard Harris, has died. Sigh. I should have stayed in bed.
I like to get my news from the SDMB first. It seems a bit gentler coming through the filter of all you guys. Then, I’ll put the TV on, or go to the news websites, and I’m prepared.

That’s scary. He had the snipers condemned to death tonight and was very disappointed to learn they were entitled to due process.
Hey, it’s insanely windy here, total fire ban across the state and there’s been fires burning all day and some nimrod is letting off fireworks. Aurggggggghh!
