I noticed a couple of locked threads on GQ today, and can’t figure out why they got locked. Usually a mod posts a comment explaining it when they do it.
They both look pretty innocuous, what’s up?
The second one was a zombie thread. The first one, I would WAG, was either started by a sock (doubtful, as it would have been deleted altogether) or a duplicate of another thread already being discussed.
The first one was already being discussed in another thread, linked to in the only reply. The second one was an old thread someone bumped. The first one I got no complaint about, but the kneejerk zombie thread locking gets a little silly around here sometimes. shrug Whatchoogonnado?
