This thread got me googling the ages of First Ladies at death, and DAMN!. They live into their 70’s, 80’s, some into their 90’s. None of them has been under 50 years old at the time of death, even those who lived back in the 1700’s.
Any clue about their longevity?
For starters, they can presumably afford and have access to the best health care available.
One important factor is that Presidents usually have a wife when they get elected, so the group you’re looking at is essentially a pre-selected one where they’ve already survived into Presidential age.
Also, the First Lady doesn’t really seem to be a valuable assassination target, unlike their husbands, 10% of whom have been deleted violently.
And I bet you’re not counting all the first wives who died before their husbands became president.
Not to mention the fact that unlike every President so far the First Ladies have all been women. Women live longer than men.
Do you count all the men who died before they became President?
