As a matter of fact, the nipples form on the embryo before the hormones kick in to make it a girl or boy. It is the default part of the’model’.

Girls are the default sex. The male hormones change a boy into a boy after most parts are formed to make up a little human. It is impossible to tell if an embryo is a boy or girl until the male parts start to happen after a certain point in development.

Without the levels of testoterone that male parts make, no xy model would develop any differently than the xx model.

Can’t a guy take some drugs that cause him to lactate & thus, breastfeed? Therefore they are functional. I think men would look funny without nipples.
