Well I did overreach; he had convinced me he had serious a serious problem and I still think so. It is not hard to see if one has one’s eyes open. Getting drunk even once is a serious business; a worrisome business; a dangerous business. This is what ought to be being emphasized here and it disappoints me that no one seems to be willing to do so. Nay it worries me that the message of alcoholism and its toll on lives on highways and personal relationships and so on is not getting through.

Humans are not good at moderation
I used to love to drink, especially alone. Beer in the morning would help me clean the house in an obsessive way. I am so thankful than I lost that desire. I believe that an alcoholic can become not an alcoholic and it doesn’t take AA. I believe that AA is a cult. Transferring one addiction for another.

How so? Could you explain your reasoning here? Of course getting drunk and attempting to perform certain activities that require a clear head and good hand/eye coordination can be dangerous but how is the act of getting drunk one time, on it’s own, worrisome and dangerous?
