A doctor on tv the other day told women not to pluck their eyebrows as often the brows stop growing back. This must explain why I see women with drawn-on eyebrows sometimes.
How come they often don’t grow back later? Why would a lady pluck so many eyebrow hairs that she doesn’t have any left?
It depends on the person: some women have very sparse eyebrows and use the eyebrow pencil as a crayon to draw in darker and ‘thicker’ brows, whereas some like me are blessed with the ‘caterpiller-brow’. I pluck mine, and they grow back quickly. I plucked them completely once (okay, damned near completely) and there are no blank spots to give any indication that they had disappeared from my face at all. (This was years ago, but they are as thick as ever.)
