Is this gods way of helping the farmes get up early in the morning befor we invented alarm clocks? mabe is it the fact that they hate the sun and that they are screeming it to go away! or do they do that just to purely annoy us? Just a silly question.
Well, I have never lived on a farm, but have it from friends who have done fieldwork in places that had roosters, that the d#)*&%#) things crow (very loudly) at any time of the day or night that they d)#$&(@( well please… So a bit of what Grosnak said, and a bit of the whole roosters crowing (only) at sunrise being not entirely true in the first place…
While Dex says that roosters crow to mark out their territory from other marauding roosters, why would they crow at the sun? I always figured it was some sort of warning signal and daybreak was perceived as a threat somehow.
