At the risk of encouraging a troll, I want to give a dissenting opinion…
I think this idea where there’s a place without limits is silly. I mean would you do this in other areas of society? Would you have a “fuck you” day every other Friday, where everyone you meet you greet with an insult? Would you have one room in your house where all rules are put to the side? It reminds me of that infantile thing, “opposite day”: “I know you said hug me, but this is opposite day, so I’ll slug you instead. Ha ha”
I’m not a prude, but “fuck” every other word is not my idea of freedom or openness or emotion. Words have meaning; words are very powerful instruments, and “fuck you” means something. There’s a reason you don’t hear it in everyday conversation.
And another thing, while I’m rambling here: The line that really annoys me that seems to come up in every other pit postings is “I would agree with you, but this is the pit, so fuck you!”
All right, I am:
a) siding with a troll
b) in disagreement with nearly every member of the board
c) in the pit.

Pit really sucks when it’s applied to the posters here, and thats just my fucking opinion.
I have to agree. I am appalled at the base language expressed here in the pit. Using such four lettered words to express disdain, dislike or even outright disgust is in the worst of spirit!
I think we need to go back, to older words, less used words… like:
Peckerwood
Dink
Lummox
Bumpkin
Ananias
Scab
Tinhorn
Coxcomb
I think we all know to whom this applies.
