IMHO Men have a natural desire to fulfill women’s sexual desire. In girl on girl action their is no observed fulfillment, just continuous buildup of sexual energy, which ties into that natural tendency, the stronger that buildup, without fulfillment, the more powerful the desire to want to satisfy them.
I’m a straight guy. As a result, I like to see/imagine hot women having sex. Also as a result, I’m not particularly interested in seeing/imagining other men (besides me, of course) having sex. With one woman masturbating, there’s a woman having sex (or engaging in a reasonable facsimile of it, at least) but no man having sex, which is fine by me. With lesbians, there are two (or more) women having sex, still with no man involved, which is twice (or more) as fine by me. It’s simple arithmetic.

But a lot of girls do. I once heard a man describe faux lesbian sex exciting because it was two women enjoying sexual desire outside of the needs of men. In other words, it was “proof” that women didn’t just “put up” with sex because men liked it, as he sometimes suspected and feared during his teen years.
I imagine that women sometimes like slash/man on man for the same reason. I think this is overanalyzing it. We understand that what were watching on TV does not involve us in anyway and we are not going to join in. It’s just entertainment. And we happen to find girl-on-girl sex more entertaining than girl-on-guy sex because we enjoy watching women having sex but don’t enjoy watching men having sex. The vast majority of women will never be able to relate to wanting to surf for porn, either in picture or movie form.
Most guys between the ages of 12 and 80 have porn on their comps somewhere. It’s so captivating guys will look at porn at work and get in trouble. Every once in awhile you hear about a scandal where some government body was discovered to spend X amount of hours cruising for porn (like the SEC). A Congressman was recently caught looking at naughty material during a session because, let’s face it, most guys would rather look at some tits than listen to a Congressional hearing on highway spending or whatever. Even if the CSPAN camera catches them doing it and they are publicly embarrassed.
When not sexually active (or even if they are, really) men can and will use porn to ogle hundreds of nude women like they’re pieces of meat. Women don’t do that to men, nor do they want to. A tiny minority do, but they’re outnumbered by homosexual males who surf for porn and all attempts to make porn for women have discovered this and eventually switched over to specifically targeting gays. So 6% of all men (or whatever the homosexual rate is) are more interested in nude dudes than all women. I guess there’s that 3% or whatever of women who are fuming having to get through all the homo targeted glurge to get their man fix on, so I guess that sucks for them.
So women just don’t care that much in general. They’re not that visually oriented. Nor do they want such casual, shallow relationships, while men fantasize about exactly that. Similar explanations apply for the enormous gender gap regarding strip clubs and prostitution. And the ultimate reasons stem from evolution and sexual strategy.
The closest equivalent you’re gonna find is the already mentioned text erotica slash. And slash shows many fundamental differences compared to what dudes write about in their stories.
And since this seems to be a poll of sorts I’ll say I don’t particularly enjoy lesbian couplings in particular. I find videos of it to be a bit too smarmy. The fake moaning, the way it’s usually set up…I don’t know. It just breaks the fourth wall too much for me. There is some really good stuff out there though, but it takes work to find IME. I’m a little torn as to what to say to this. On one hand, I don’t understand why you wouldn’t want that. I mean, it’s double the fun, right? On the other hand, men are gross, hairy creatures. I can’t imagine why you’d want to see ANY men having sex.

Sorry - in the sections I’ve bolded, are you trying to say that women can’t give each other orgasms and/or satisfy each other sexually? I think this is … not the case.
