Speak for yourself. Perhaps you are a dumbass. Me, not so much.
Actually, I amend that response, and my new response must be placed in the Pit.

not for nuttin’ but the sole and single event I watched this time was chicks curling…
couldn’t help wondering which of these elite athletes (ed note:not sarcasm, I’m actually kinda hooked on the long period of suspense which is unique to curling) was in the calendar…which is probably why they made the calander in the first place and I am delighted to be manipulated by a clever marketing ploy…
Why do some men have absolutely no interest in sports? I would never knock anyone who enjoys playing and/or watching, but I’ve never understood the attraction.
I take it you have not seen any of the calendar exercpts…
Just some WAGS, but I suppose it is because most of the games are relatively complex, both the rules and the interactions between their players. Most people have played sports, whether in gym class, with the guys, or even on a team. Because of that, most people can appreciate the level of skill, training, dedication and special blend of genetics (or steriods) it takes to excel. It is also highly popular, and as with popular things it lends a monumental “small talk” opportunity. Why talk about weather, when you can talk about the MU vs KU game.
I think many people associate their city or town or school with a particular team, and somehow feel that their town/city/personal identiy is somehow greater when their team does good, and lesser when they do bad.
Just WAGs of course.
