Why is this a problem? After refining and reprocessing, the amount of intensely radioactive waste is miniscule compared to the other pollution we generate. Cast it into glass bricks and stack them out in the middle of White Sands Proving Ground. Put a fence around them with a sign that says “If you pass this fence you will die.” Then leave them there. Who knows, we might need that waste in the future to power our spaceships. The Romans thought oil was waste when it seeped into their water wells. Never throw anything away that there could be a conceivable need for in the future.
Plenty wrong with the above but let’s just say there isn’t. If you’re screwed no matter who you vote for, why did you vote? Why didn’t you stay home instead of voting for the most incompetent and morally corrupt candidate in our lifetime? And do you stand by your decision now?
At some point the bill will come due, yea we could devalue or currency but that would have it own set of problems. How about we balance the budget and pay our bills. We might not become Greece or Venezuela, but I’d rather have people owning me money rather than the other way around.
Yes, I do stand by my decision now. Having seen what a Clinton white house looked like and watching her dance around the issues of her e-mail problems reminded me of it “It depends upon what the meaning of the word ‘is’ is.” Even now she’s blaming everyone else for her losing the election. In fact given her track record and her statements I think I picked the least incompetent/ morally corrupt candidate that was up for election that had a chance to win.
I voted for the person who I felt was going to screw me less.

Again I don’t agree with everything Trump does. Why do people think that just because you voted for someone you have to agree with EVERYTHING they do. I don’t agree with the fence, I don’t agree with excessive governmental spending, etc.
Had the Democrats came out and said, “We will help pass a balance budget amendment, give power back to the states and local government.” They would have gotten my vote.
I believe that the closer the government is to the people the better people are governed, the needs and wants of my town are vastly different than the needs and wants of say Seattle. I want the local school board making the decision, not someone in DC.
Yes, we need some federal control over some things, but how much control is the question. Basically I feel the federal government has overstepped its bound and infringed on state rights.
Since his first day in office, Trump is on record as having lied over 3000 times. We’re not even talking about the things he lied about during his campaign or the crap he’s known to have said and done throughout his life before entering politics. Do you stand by your statement that Hillary’s poor judgement regarding the email server is worse than anything Trump did leading up to the election, and, do you continue to stand by your statement that Hillary’s behavior post election (book, etc.) is worse than the daily lies and various other statements made by Trump since entering office?
And if you do, please explain why you prefer a pathological daily liar, Trump, to an occasional liar, Hillary?
Nope but I do hear the ads for all the FREE MONEY the government is giving away, call today to get your check. I’ve gotten a few robo calls telling me I “won” a government grant, my record for keeping them on the line is 45 min. You know for people who are trying to give me money they are really rude.

Great! So do the Democrats. Part of the immigration reform they are promoting is the expansion and facilitation of legal immigration so that people don’t have to break the law. It the Republicans who are opposed to this, and Trump who is doing his best to shut down the program you just praised (unless your friend happened to be Norwegian rather than coming from one of those “shithole” countries).
The question is what to do with the 12 million people who are already here. As the Nazis discovered rounding up and deporting this many people is a logistic nightmare even aside from the humanitarian side of things. Leaving them here as a shadow underclass to be preyed upon at will because they fear going to the police is also not a sustainable option. So what do you propose?
As for the “Dreamers” what benefit is there to forcibly transporting a young man or woman who has lived almost their entire life in the Untied states, to some random country that they have no memory of, know nobody in, and may not even speak the language of. Basically imagine the plight of your friend who is in a new land doesn’t speak the language, knows no one and is cleaning toilets while she cries herself to sleep at night, but rather than doing this of her own free will for a chance of a better life in a land or opportunity, she had this forced upon her and was moved from a land of opportunity, to a land of poverty and danger. I suppose there is some cruel justice of letting the sins of the father fall upon the children, but no one is the better for this.
