I’m guessing this isn’t against the drug rules here right?
Anyway yea I’m in my early thirties and there are people my age and younger who I mean live weed, if it was legal they might marry a plant.
Everytime I’ve smoked weed I don’t even think I’d call it euphoric, I’m just kind of zoned out like being sleep deprived and extremely pliable mentally. Like someone will say lets build a tower to space and I’m like ok…where later or sober I’d be like WTF thats not gonna work.
Thats about the extent of effects I have felt, I don’t dislike it but it isn’t something I’d bother seeking out or making the cornerstone of my life either.
So if you really love marijuana why? Are my impressions odd or normal?
I think it has something to do with natural stimulus that some of us may be lacking. When I am in a highly creative mode I have no desire for it. When for some reason I hit one of those creative blocks pot will sometimes kick it back in for me. I smoke just a small amount early each morning when I am using, it seems to kick my day off. If I wake up energized I don’t bother with it.
For many years I smoked every day, generally at the end of the day, like many people have a glass of wine. It relaxed me.
Now I mainly smoke at live music shows. I go to over 50 shows a year so it’s not that infrequent. I don’t at every show but when I do, it enhances the experience. I also enjoy the community of sharing a joint or a bowl.
I can understand that, like I said the main effect it had on me was making me feel spaced out. I bet it could be a good sleep aid if you’re in a dark room, makes it hard for your mind to keep chugging away.
Have you ever experienced paranoia? I’ve never experienced anything like that, even though I have heard others talk about it. But I was never worried about being “caught” by anyone so I don’t know if that matters.
I don’t smoke too much these days, but some of my favorite memories involved being high and hanging out with friends. Music sounds better, colors seem more vibrant, movies (especially dumb action movies) are more fun to watch. I play sports better when I’m high, video games too. The joys of diving into a swimming pool while stoned off my ass on a 100 degree day…weed just seems to make everything better.
