I find it interesting that a relatively minor character in a movie 20 years ago is still so memorable. At the same time, I agree, he was probably the most interesting character in the movie. I think we’ve all felt overworked, unappreciated, and underpaid at some point.

Nah, Jeff Goldblum is a more interesting character. Of course, the fact that I call him Jeff Goldblum may count against his acting. Anyway, of all the characters, my wife and I quote Ian Malcolm the most.

All right, but he’s Jeff Goldblum in every movie. He’s like Arnold Schwarzenegger. Wow I spelled that correctly on the first try. Basically, he’s not acting, he’s just playing himself in every film.

That being said, I guess I am one of the weirdos who enjoys Jeff Goldblum.

See, to me, the effects in Jurassic Park actually do still hold up. Sure, they’re not flashy like current movies, but as far as being a completely fabricated animal stuck in live action scenes, they look pretty damn good.

Especially that HUUUUGE pile of dino dung!
