Why does "Rebel Yell" kinda turn me on?

I’m stumped.

This is a poll. Arriving in a moment.

It turns me on too.

I think it’s the singing.

Maybe you just have undiscovered fetish for men who wear Civil War uniforms.

I am a male that is not turned on by the song (though it’s GREAT for jamming out to) but my vote is that “Because it’s Billy Idol, duh.”

You forgot the option:

Because of that one Billy Idol video with the girl who spills the wine on her shirt and then goes nuts on the bed.

Because you like more, more, more, more, more.

Ahh, transports me back to a time called “the 80s” and a place known as “high school”. Sleeveless Billy Idol T-shirt, parachute pants, 3/4 high top Nikes…sigh

Moving thread from IMHO to Cafe Society.

It’s that one part where Steve Stevens goes apeshit on the whammy bar.

OK, I thought this was going to be a poll about cheap bourbon!

I think it’s a Generation X thing.

*I *thought it was going to be about hot Southern Civil War re-enactors.

A-C but mostly A. Women who like sex are sexy, and apparently this chick is LOVING it

It’s a fun, high-energy 80’s song sung by a skinny, sneering punked-out brit about a woman screaming while having sex.

I theorize you like most or all of those things.

Does such a thing exist?

I thought this was going to be about the Rebel Yell (my favorite roller coaster ever).

Rock the Cradle of Love - directed by David Fincher, no less (youtube link)

Don’t know what to say about the OP, but the song has a staying power, that’s for sure. My buddy’s 80’s cover band (making great money playing company events; played the SF Hard Rock for NY’s Eve) took Rebel Yell for their name given the power of it’s appeal…

Thanks, WordMan It’s probably TMI but as a very young man watching that video is the first time I can remember being sexually aware.
