I seriously can’t even read it without clicking the stop button. I see something in the status bar about google analytics. Anyone else having problems? No other website does this.

I use Firefox on a MacBook and it happened to me the other day. Scared the crap out of me, but when I logged back in later, it had stopped…
I am using Firefox. I think the board was just screwing up tonight because later on I got a database error and then it started working again.
Another Firefox user who’s never had this happen before here, ever.
Maybe it’s because Google Analytics is in my NoScript’s “permanent no” folder? OTOH, if it were that easy, there’d be a LOT more incidences of this from those with browsers that don’t have that plugin/feature…
I don’t think there’s anything special about me. The board indicated that there was a gap from about 720 CST to 930 CST where no new posts occurred. This is when the continuous reloading occurred. I am chalking it up to database problems. I use Adaware and AVG Free (both updated and scanned) so I don’t think I have anything wrong with my system.
Could it be some form of link checking from your AV or maybe some form of browser accelerator - which looks for links and preloads them.
