Often I ask the search function to look for threads posted by me so I can respond to them. But sometimes it won’t show threads from the last day or two. Now I understand maybe not showing up today’s threads, but is there a reason why it won’t show yesterday’s and sometimes the day before’s?
Or is it just a quirk?

You’d be better off subscribing to the threads you’re interested in. Our search function is very, very quirky.
There’s a bug related to past searches holding over based on the time frame. Search for “search” (heh) in ATMB and I’m sure you’ll get a bunch of similar explanations. Bottom line, to force a fresh search and get up-to-date results, use a different date parameter.
