Why does this guy NOT wear a belt, sheesh!

Frank must be British, if only at heart. His mode of attire is exactly that of the stereotypical British brickie.

Wait a minute, I think suspenders and braces are two entirely different animals. The way it was explained to me, was that suspenders sort of clip on and braces button on. You can tell they’re braces if the part that attaches to the pants is a little upside-down Y, suspenders are just simple bands on elastic. The fellow who told me this had been in the mens clothing business for ages and also let me know that suspenders were icky. Think Mork vs. Cary Grant. Hmph, whatever.

So, do nice men’s slacks have buttons on the inside of the waistband for braces? Or do you sew them on yourself since most people just wear belts now?

The irony was a bit too subtle for us, was it?

Not at all, I was attempting to brush off your comment.:rolleyes:

…I neither shamed nor mocked him in the OP.

He needs some longtail t-shirts more than a belt or suspenders or braces.

I like this part from THYLACINE`s link;

“just three inches of shirt body length will keep you in the good graces of your clients and fellow tradesmen.”
