Kool-aid is a good beverage, but it’s not as good as actual fruit juice. Besides the fact that they use artificial flavors, why not? Why don’t they have a magic ingredient that you can add to artificial drinks and make them taste as good as 100% juice? Juice is so expensive. And so many juice drinks are only 5% or less juice. What the point of even putting actual fruit juice in it other than to put “made with real fruit juice” on the label?
Because magic ingredients are much more expensive than artificial ones.
So long as people are willing to pay good money for oddly flavoured sugar water, there will be folks willing to sell them oddly flavoured sugar water.
I didn’t even know Kool-Aid was supposed to taste like fruit juice.
I believe that is the point.
