Why don’t fingernail clippers have grippier handles

Plasti Dip. It works fine and is pretty cheap, but the quantity they sell seems a bit much for the size of Clippers, maybe plan on doing a couple things together.

My toe nail clipper is named Vu. Besides clipping my nails, she digs out the one ingrown nail I have, scrubs my feet with some blue gritty stuff, massages my calves and tops off everything with hot towels. Worth every penny of the $25 it costs me every 6 weeks or so.

If you use your clippers correctly the clippings won’t fly all over the place.

I’ll definitely need someone to instruct me on the finer subtleties of clipping my nails. Do you have a video?

For this reason, for as long as I can remember, I trim my nails outside. Coincidentally, I trimmed my finger & toenails (is there a name for when both need done at the same time?) yesterday. It was rainy, so I worked on the porch.

Yeah. The photos in the ads always show one tool being dipped and a line of tools waiting their turn.

Does it wear out? Everyone I know has little clippers and they’re always misplacing them. The first year I dropped a pair into everyone’s Christmas stocking, everyone was delighted. After a few years, we may have reached saturation, where everyone has older ones that can be found when they look for a newer one.

Not subtle at all. Instead of clipping the whole nail in one clip, start at one edge and take 2-3 smaller clips. Kind of like cutting paper with scissors.

Pssst. I think Vu is a person.

I’ve scattered nail clippers all over the house, car and in my music gear. As a string musician, fingernails get in the way, so I’m trimming them constantly.

We have these scattered throughout our production facility. I’ve managed to obtain a few and they are the absolute best for nail clipping. High precision, high quality and razor sharp. Expensive but they will last for years.
