Why don't buses get the respect that they damn well deserve?

Hey, being a bus is hard. I know. I’m a bus driver. I drive for NYCTA. I drive the Jamaican Rumpshaker 1746 every day 12 hours straight. It’s hard on me, but it’s damn sure hard on her. Trash, grafitti, ugly kids, stink homeless folk, the list goes on folks.

I think that each and everyone of us should take some time out of our lives and ‘save a bus’. Yes, “save a bus”. The first bus you need to save is mine, 1746. New York plans on retiring her soon and I will be emotionally distraught if they do. Hell, I may go postal, or bustal.

So, will you do it? Start a letter writing campaign and save my bus! Save it! SAVE IT!!!

I’d much rather save a NYC subway. They’re cooler. And they don’t get stuck in traffic.

Subways are ugly and bland. My baby is damn beautiful and has alot of spunk for an eightenn year old bus!

Read the title of the thread. Do you notice the question mark? A question mark is a useful little symbol that indicates that a given sentence is… you’ll never guess… a question!

There’s something to be said for someone who pays attention to detail before resorting to pointless nitpicking. Of course, I’m just pointlessly nitpicking here.

Ok, but if you do, Please do all your maiming and slaughtering with a SWORD or other edged weapon and not a GUN!! I cannot wait to see the look on the faces of all those gun control bastards when you take out 15 innocent people with a katana. Then they will know guns do not cause crime, BUSES do!!! Ban BUSES!!
