And there he goes:
Good show, Frank. Well done.
*And yes, I take Pay-pal as well.

chorpler:
Wait, what? I want to see that.
Well, maybe it was just me, but I thought it was always around the edges. Like, he wouldn’t admit how many people were in the union, for one thing. He kept obfuscating and dancing around it.
Oh, darn, I was hoping I’d missed a link to a video or news article or something.

Well, I gotta admit that I find ole’ Bullsy a breath of fresh air. No coded language. No pretending to be compassionate (or even trying to convince themselves). He just comes right out and says what Real 'Markans think.
I’m not sure that he’s a Real 'Markan. He called welfare “the dole,” which is something Americans don’t do.

In certain regions it is not uncommon. I have heard it in rural PA.
The best thing to do is just point out how these people are unpatriotic and unAmerican. And how people died for the rights they want to tear up.
Because you are a Real American.

My grandpa called it “the dole” - he was also from PA, from Pittsburgh.

I have lived for decades in the deep south. Not super rural, but not the big city either.
“on the dole” is a phrase that I immediately recognize. For what its worth.

I thought that was because trying to define ‘membership’ in such a transitory population, especially when most paid no union fees, would be virtually impossible. Dancing around it and saying ‘I’m not at liberty to discuss that’ was his hamhanded way to avoid anwering the question at all, since it probably doesn’t have an answer, and he couldn’t admit that.
I gotta think some of those panhandlers did hate him though - imagine talking to him every day, it would wear thin I would think.
I do miss Smashy. He was pretty fun while he lasted, in a demented sort of way.
I know you’re not supposed to beat up on the departed, but dang it I love this pun:
When I first saw the username “bullrun”, I asked myself how long before this man-ass is banned?
I guess it’s about time for our William Tell routine.
