If this guy’s a troll, he’s not a very good one. Trolls exist to rile people up, and I don’t see much riling going on – mostly just pointing and laughing. Though I suppose there’s a certain population that gets off on public humiliation. He may be busy jerking off to all these insults right now.
On the other hand, on the off chance he’s truly here to debate his sincerely-held convictions, he’s clearly not smart enough know his audience (there are quite a few conservatives here on this “liberal” board), or to use proper enough grammar, spelling and punctuation to be taken seriously.
People with unpopular opinions can actually do well here if they are intelligent and respectful, but bullrun is neither. Fail on every level.
My guess, by the way, is that he’s a kid, 11 or 12 maybe, who’s bragging to all his friends about pwning a bunch of grown-ups on some website that doesn’t even have videos on it.
The mods here have a thankless job, I know. They generally do a decent job at their work. However, there’s a lot of inconsistency; consider the smackdowns for insults outside the pit, compared to obvious and prolonged trolling. The abundance of “Why hasn’t so-and-so been banned?” threads here are an indicator of that. Users shouldn’t be kicked off the board because a pitchfork- and torch-wielding mob demands it, but still …
The mods are dicsussing these issues as of right now (because I just got home from work and started a discussion).
I personally haven’t been “aware” of much lately because I just moved into a new place and have been busy getting Internet access, and breaking stuff. I received a report about his post, read the post, and issued a note.
The OP itself doesn’t seem to ask any questions. The thread title asks a question, but I assume it’s rhetorical because Frank (a former moderator) knows the rules. When I first saw this thread, I changed the thread title to reflect the content of the OP and it’s relation to the quoted rule. But:
a. I realized that I’d named the wrong poster in the title; and more important
b. I read **Frank’s **explanation in post #10 and decided to honor what he was trying to do. So I changed it back.
That’s the last time I had a chance to look at this thread.

This guy has entertainment value. That’s probably a factor. Back in the day, we used to keep trolls a lot longer, IIRC. It made things a lot more fun. (JDT was here for a good while, I seem to remember)
I’ve actually been fairly amused by bully’s spittle-flecked rants, but he oughta be banned on general principles for apparently having attracted Don123 the Birther to this board. Great googly moogly, what an utter pillock.
Well, maybe it was just me, but I thought it was always around the edges. Like, he wouldn’t admit how many people were in the union, for one thing. He kept obfuscating and dancing around it.
