Um, BigT, you really want to think this one over again. Nonconstructive people have always be with us, will always be with us. And barring enforcement mechanisms, they sure as heck will continue to thrive on the internet. The challenge is in creating institutions and systems that are robust with respect to such shenanigans – curbing it entirely on a semi-anonymous message board isn’t especially realistic.
Don’t mind him, his favourite thing is to be outraged at other peoples outrage. All outrage is wrong and jerkish, unless it’s his own outrage.

Likewise, you can, of course, explain what who I am racist in favor of and who I am bigoted against, with examples of how I have displayed this racism and bigotry though my posts to this board. Feel free to do so.
You know, at some point you’ve got to do a little more than string some words together and assume they make a coherent and factual argument. Again, how effectively are you at getting your message across? Are you giving the impression that you are an intelligent, sensible, logical person who marshals facts to back up his opinions, and are you actually convincing anyone of the correctness of your position?
I do believe that’s the first time in my eight years here that I’ve been called a “lib”. Can you give me any indication from my posts of my liberal tendencies? I very consciously keep away from political discussions on this board, and I don’t think anyone here, even those with more than one and a half brain cells to rub together, could correctly deduce my political leanings from what I’ve written here.

Well, I gotta admit that I find ole’ Bullsy a breath of fresh air. No coded language. No pretending to be compassionate (or even trying to convince themselves). He just comes right out and says what Real 'Markans think.

Just out of curiosity… being new and an English-as-a-third-language type person… The “directed at other posters” part is a bit unclear, is it supposed to mean “other posters” in general, or just “another poster”. Like, would that rule cover “Fuck everyone”?
