Satan was never a moderator here, except possibly in his own head. IIRC, the last straw was when he presumed a thread was going to be moved to the pit anyway, and started following Pit rules instead of rest-of-the-board rules. You might be getting confused because he was a moderator on Opal’s board, or you might be thinking of Melin, an early moderator who ended up banned.
I remember he (OBL) got a very strong warning in that thread about camping in the mountains.
The mighty Cecil always said something cryptic–“double sawbuck” was his term.
Most people in their 20s-30s probably couldn’t understand his code.
It took awhile to locate his IP address. But Cecil has taken care of the problem now, once and for all.
