Why haven't these liberal things been banned?

At last, the recognition I so richly deserve! Yes, I am the one who started the whole “liberalism” canard. I was coked out of my mind one weekend and rewrote my American Government curriculum on the fly. I found the most revolutionary, subversive, anti-State document I could get a hold of, and I based my entire class around it. Lo and behold, the kids bought it! And they told their friends about the “New Learning.” Who told their parents. Who told the publishers of textbooks. Soon, the whole world was dragged down into the gutter of Liberalism and Equal Opportunity For All.

I’m so proud.

touches bullrun

You’re infected!

One of us! One of us! One of us!

Uh, actually, liberal infiltration of the country’s educational system (and it’s concomitant indoctrination of students, for it’s primarily among the young, impressionable and easily enraged that liberalism finds its most willing adherents) began long before you were born.

William F. Buckley’s God and Man at Yale rails about decades of it and that book was published in 1951.

The OP is obviously a Raaaacist and Naaaazi!

Oh damn, I’ve just made his argument for him.

Oh, can we PLEASE keep this guy for a while? Please please please? We haven’t had a really entertaining wacko for a while, and he hasn’t really broken any rules.

Bullrun. The most awesome idiot ever.

Though I’m a little nauseous from all the popcorn I’ve eaten the last couple days.

I would hope so. The documents I was referring to are dated 1776, 1789, and 1787-2010, inclusive. It was the latter one that I based my class around.

Sorry, it must have been the “I started the liberalism canard while coked out of my mind” bit that threw me off track.

The Constitution is a bunch of liberal lies!

This is what happens when someone’s mother doesn’t know who his father was, then kicks the shit out of him regularly for being a bastard.

I like this guy! He’s silly!

And I never have to fear him making me look dumb by poking holes in my arguments.

Nuh uh! SmashTheState was waaaaaay more awesome an idiot. Plus anarcho-syndicalism is funnier than boring old reactionary conservatism.

I had the education of a similar era to St. Arvings.

They taught me that when the poor and oppressed around the world heard the news that the American’s were coming, they rejoiced at the prospect of their liberation by a humane and just nation. And I believed it.

Until I read Mark Twain about the Phillipines.

They taught me that yes, there were some minor problems between labor and management, but really, the owners only had the workers best interests at heart, seeking to protect them from Communist propaganda and subversion. But I’d been on a picket line with my Teamster grandfather, and I already knew that was a crock. Didn’t even have to wait to talk to a very old man who told me what obscenity was hidden within the word “Pinkerton”.

Lies, Starving. Lies. Its true what they say, that the truth will free your mind. They don’t tell you it must break your heart first, if you’ve been fed a diet of cotton candy lies.

I don’t know about lies, but certain liberal judges and SCOTUS justices have seen things in it that just ain’t there.

This is one of the big liberal complaints about Scalia: he thinks the Constitution says what it actually says.

Sure don’t take much, does it?

If he survives.
Two men enter, one man leaves!

The Facts vs. bullrun

Tonight… at the thunderdome!!!

It must be neat to be so sure in your beliefs, that there is only one way to interpret the world.

I envy you your certainty.

Too tard didn’t read.

On a related note what’s with all these half a tard racists appearing on the boards suddenly ?

Oh, it happens pretty frequently. Some tard shows up, expecting us to be stunned speechless by his truthiness. They make a stink for a whle, then slither away.

Spazmoids should be vetted before they’re allowed to post things on teh intrawebs.
