Suppose that there was a room wherein a man was locked up 24 hours a day. There is a door to this room and a slot in the door through which his handlers pass him food, supplies, and communications. The man was placed in the room at a very young age, when he was still illiterate.

So… are we talking about countries like the Soviet Union? (has ‘Union’ right there in the name, see) Stalin was a ‘liberal’? And the country eventually collapsed under the weight of its insufferable liberalism? And today, ‘liberals’ who want things like UHC are actually trying to bring about something like the second coming of Stalin because of their communistic tendencies?

There’s no correlation between these things and the financial theft, excesses, intimidation and brutality of labor unions. For one thing, with the exception of Jim Crow laws which were laws and not private entities, they’re all fairly isolated occurrances, whereas labor unions and their brutality and misdeeds were allowed to spread all throughout the nation. And they have existed and committed their various criminal wrongdoings for many more years and during more so-called enlightened times. Comparing labor unions to any of the things tomndebb listed is apples and oranges.
The trolls have been boring, boorish, and predictable this summer. Someone had best come up with a more subtle troll schtick, or I fear the season shall have been lost entirely.
